A Formulation Scientist (Colorant) is required to support the R&D functions within our client's Decorative Paint Business Area in Slough. Our client is a leading Global Paints and Coatings Company and a major producer of speciality chemicals, with leading market positions and brands in countries around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prioritise, carry out and test laboratory formulation experiments.
• Produce regular reports and prepare presentations as well as share information with R&D teams, manufacturing and external parties.
• You will be required to provide technical support as well as troubleshoot and provide recommendations for production batches.
• You will need the ability to contribute ideas for the development of new, improved, safer and sustainable products, processes and procedures.

The Formulation Scientist will have a degree in materials science or a related physical science and have laboratory experience. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office and understand the need to work safely and to high standards. In addition to your scientific skills, you will also be analytical, numerate and a good communicator.
