HR Generalist 55k, HYBRID, flexible
Fixed Term - 12 Months

The company:
Our client is a well-established Irish company with 40 years of history, based in Balbriggan.
We are recruiting for a HR Generalist for a twelve-month fixed term contract who will be a key member within the company.Amongst other duties the role is focused on training and development initiatives, people engagement and recruitment process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintenance and management of all employee legislative and compliance documentation through company workforce management system.
- Lead the company's talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Have complete accountability for employee lifecycle to include, onboarding, training, appraisal, performance management and exit procedures.
- Management of the training and development function through constructive and timely evaluation of training needs, induction training and supportive HR and training documentation
- Act as the first point of contact to manage all employee relations issues that arise.
- Provide guidance and support to management in regard to all employee relations issues ensuring compliance within legislative and regulatory environments.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leave and compensation
- Manage and conduct disciplinary and grievance processes where appropriate
- Liaise and engage with management and administration personnel at each of the Company locations
- Gather and analyse data with useful HR metrics
- Develop and implement programs to effectively communicate the Company's key messages to employees
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new benefits, create employee engagement initiatives and organise team building activities
- Ensure compliance in line with Company, legislative, industry and all health and safety requirements.
- Competently handle all administrative aspects of the role
About You:
- 3 years' experience in a Generalist HR role.
- CIPD qualification an advantage
- Excellent communication, problem solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- An ability to foster good relationships with all stakeholders at each level of the business
- Self-motivated and organised
- Ability to act on own initiative and effectively prioritise
- Good administrative skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Previous experience using Softworks or other HRM system
