On Site Consultant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an onsite Contract Consultant to join our global recruitment agency, Manpower. The role will be based on site at our prestigious client site in Crumlin, South Wales. This is a production facility, making a much-loved British food staple since the 1970's
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking the next step in their career and would be ideally suited to those who are currently working in a client relationship role, HR, recruitment administration, recruitment or resourcing role. The role is ongoing with opportunities for development.
Hours: 25-37.5hrs per week (part time or full time considered), Monday to Friday. the client operates 24/7 so some flexibility may be required on occasion. This is a fully on-site role
Salary: The position is paying £22,000 - 24,000 per annum pro rata, plus bonuses and benefits.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment
- Supporting central recruitment team with attraction plans and sourcing candidates
- Responsible for site tours / inductions
On-Boarding & Staff Management
- Onboarding new recruits (Applications packs / other documentation)
- Setting up new recruits on payroll system, then ongoing management of payroll
- Holiday / Absence Management and tracking
- Shift allocation (Weekly labour planning)
- 121s, Appraisals & Development of onsite staff
- Disciplinary and Grievance hearings (support Provided)
Client Management:
- Building and maintain good relationships with key client contacts
- Responding to requests for management information
- Ensure billing information is accurate to secure timely payments
- Supporting the Contract Manager as and when required
Management Information:
- Headcount / KPI reporting (Excel / MS Office)
- Creating and updating profiles on in-house candidate managements systems (training provided)
- Personal Attributes, Skills and Experience
- Strong IT skills (Excel / MS Office)
- Experience in a similar role essential
- Experience in a Manufacturing/Production environment an advantage
- Ability to work independently
- A confident communicator
