I have an excellent opportunity for a new Head of Parts working within an approved DAF Truck. Working closely with the Regional Director, Parts Sales Director and the Regional Leadership Team, central organisation, franchise partners and customers you will be responsible for a diverse team that will deliver robust parts sales growth, margin targets and a high level of customer service.

About the role:

This role is a senior leadership position within the Region, reporting directly into the Regional Director. This role will be responsible for formulating and executing parts 'outward and internal facing' sales strategy and significantly driving forward the financial performance of the function.

The role demands a perpetual review of current approaches and practices, actively exploring new and alternative initiatives with a primary focus on delivering benchmark parts sales and industry leading financial performance across all sites. Motivational leadership and the ability to influence the key stakeholders within the function is a critical part of this role as is the ability to demonstrably show the return on investment.

Duties:

  • Colleague and Customer Satisfaction. Instilling a high-performance sales culture supported with development plans for the Region's population, aligned with the Groups values.
  • Observe, encourage, and inspire front counter parts sales team to secure customer loyalty, utilising all sales tools including Web shop and Sales I to achieve budget, sales growth and margin.
  • Monitor and measure individual team performance levels through KPI measurement around call handling, sales value, GP and lost sales
  • Work with the Regional Service Management team to ensure maximum efficiency is delivered to workshop counter operations and that sales growth opportunities are identified and maximised
  • Manage the field-based sales team to ensure that visit plans are effectively planned and actioned
  • Target customers are identified, and OSS set portfolio
  • Target customer sales performance is monitored and communicated weekly
  • Monthly sales meetings are held with all OSS and the Sales Office Team Leader.
  • Ensure that imprest stocks are checked on a regular basis and that quarterly reviews and refreshes take place, maximising the opportunity to deliver sales growth from the investment.
  • Work with the franchise partner systems to ensure customers are well informed and provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Upper quartile positions in all Manufacturer league tables, initiatives and benchmarks.
  • All Makes business 'TRP' sales performance is in line with the manufacturer and organisations expectations.

Salary:

£55,000 - £65,000 working Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm, 40 hours per week - plus extensive benefits and career progression opportunities.
