An exciting opportunity has arisen for a ARA Validations Analyst, to join our client, a leading global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil & Simple based at their headquarters in Blackfriars, London or can be based remotely.

This is a full-time temporary role until 3rd March 2023 working a 36.25-hour week, to start ASAP. No more than 2 days annual leave can be taken during this period (excluding Christmas).

This role is paying between £40,000k - £44,00k per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

*Due to the urgent nature of this role, we cannot accept any applications that have a longer notice period of 2 weeks!!

The Validations team are tasked with gathering evidence on all the claims within the document before it goes to press. Information within the Strategic Report is not necessarily financial in nature so there is no requirement for advanced financial reporting or accounting skills, although this would be useful to understanding the Strategic Report in the context of the whole Annual Report and Accounts.


  • Gathering evidence from various stakeholders, auditing the evidence and documenting that properly
  • Understand the nature of handling restricted information within the business
  • Work closely with financial reporting accountants as well as communications experts
  • As the role entails considerable communication by email with individuals at different levels within the business, strong communication skills are essential

Required skills

  • Evidence of handling large quantities of information and working under time pressure is required
  • Project management
  • Qualified or semi qualified accountant - nice to have
  • Previous experience in financial reporting/auditing - nice to have
  • MS Office incl. Teams, Sharepoint
  • Communications skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Working to tight deadlines
  • Strong Team ethic
