Job Title: Process Operator / Machine Operator / Manufacturing Technician

Location: West Thurrock

Salary From £35,500 to £41,000 dependent on experience plus additional benefits

Shift Pattern: 12.5 hours shift pattern (days & nights) 6 till 6. NO WEEKENDS!!

Week 1 = 4 shifts
Week 2 = 3 shifts
Week 3 =3 shifts

Responsibilities:

As a Shift Process Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collating materials to match specifications for the batching process
  • Safe unloading of raw materials with adherence to best practices
  • Following 5S guidelines for shift start, changeovers, cleaning, inspections, defect checks, and basic troubleshooting
  • Utilising the company's MRP system for stock checks, monitoring production schedules, and identifying reasons for downtime

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • Background in either FMCG/Pharma, Chemical, or Food Manufacturing environments
  • Experience in batching or process operations or packing
  • Understanding of chemical mixing and related procedures
  • Troubleshooting experience with machinery defects
  • Proven track record in running processes and operating machinery

Shift Pattern:

The Shift Process Operator role involves working on a continental shift pattern, encompassing both day and night shifts.
