You will be joining a leading company in the UK!

We are seeking a proactive, highly organised and detail-oriented Buyer to join our Procurement team. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Procurement to contribute to the successful delivery of our category management strategy. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with category management, supplier onboarding, compliance and audits. Additionally, you will handle ad hoc requirements and support the team in various aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier onboarding and compliance
  • Management of existing contracts and relationships with suppliers
  • Reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities
  • Ensuring supplier catalogues and pricing information are up to date
  • Maintaining accurate records of all procurement transactions for auditing purposes
  • Identifying and implementing best practices to optimise efficiencies in the procurement process


Qualifications and Skills:

  • CIPS Level 4 (or working towards)
  • Proven experience in procurement, category management, or a related role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using Excel, procurement systems and software (NetSuite experience preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent organisational and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
