Warehouse Operative £21 - 23K North Cambridge

As a global supplier of scientific products and solutions, our client have been firmly established within their sector for over 70 years.

Due to continued growth, additional operational staff are now required within their global distribution site based in North Cambridgeshire.

The core of the role involves overseeing all inbound deliveries to the warehouse, picking and packing orders ready for outbound delivery, working closely with the on-site booking team to keep the customers requirements front of mind.

There is also scope to develop within the role with different courses available to bolster your expertise and grow your career within the business.

Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours a week, starting at either 8:30AM or 9:00AM, depending on preference.

Salary range for the role is £21,500 - £23,500 depending on experience, plus additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading of trailers and lorries
• Keeping the yard clean and tidy
• Completing all administration to a high level of accuracy for inbound and outbound deliveries
• Carrying out safety checks, including forklift safety checks
• Reporting of hazards or accidents
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
• Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to the care of equipment
• Data input onto internal systems

Whilst not essential, the ideal candidate would also have previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
