- Efficient planning and arrangement of international consignments, adhering to client instructions and ensuring operational excellence.
- Financial oversight of both costs and revenues, aiming to maximise profitability within operations.
- Demonstrate adaptability and teamwork to maintain consistent, uninterrupted service to both clients and their customers.
- Engage in effective communication to address any deviations from established transport plans, ensuring transparency and prompt resolution.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and foster relationship building from the onset, utilising both phone and email communications.
- Ensure compliance with customs requirements, managing inquiries and other communications swiftly and competently.
- Advocate for continuous improvement through cross-training within the team and professional management of customer feedback.
- Support a multifunctional team approach, enhancing the breadth of client solutions and ensuring the timely communication of key project stages.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Road Freight, Air Freight, and Sea Freight.
- Experience with logistics and customs systems such as Destin8, Descartes, NES.
- Advanced ICT skills, with a confident demeanour in client-facing situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, paired with a friendly, calm, and professional approach.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and display enthusiasm, flexibility, and motivation.
- Excellent organisational skills, capable of collaborating closely with internal departments, and willingness to work flexible hours during busy periods.
