Manpower UK Print & Packaging Division are excited to bring an opportunity to market for a hands-on EHS Manager based on our clients Newcastle site. This full-time permanent opportunity is working for one of our prestigious partners, a market-leading, global packaging business. You will have a real passion for all things EHS, have a real presence on site and be responsible for reviewing and implementing processes on this lean manufacturing site.

Passionate about Sustainability, the safety of their global family/colleague's and Quality of the final product, this is a key strategic transformation implementation globally, with investment/funding and clear goals set, with inclusive peer to peer site engagement across function.
As the EHS Manager you would be accountable for providing environmental, health and safety guidance throughout the Newcastle plant, working with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance, implement good manufacturing and continuous improvement practices, and ensure EHS is a value-added part of the overall business.
What's on offer:
- Salary - c.£47,000 per annum.

- DIS x 7 salary.
- EHS or Business Administration Degree Level Qualification (or equivalent)
- NEBOSH Level 6 National Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals or equivalent
- 3 years' experience as a EHS or HSE Manager in a manufacturing environment (if within Packaging a BONUS, not essential)
