Manpower UK Print & Packaging Division are excited to bring an opportunity to market for a Field Service Engineer (customer facing) based at a commutable distance from Wisbech, Braunstone or Wantage. This full-time permanent opportunity is working for one of our prestigious partners, a market-leading, global packaging business. The successful candidate will be apprentice trained with a mechanical bias.

This is an exciting role, where no two days are the same! You will largely be out in the field supporting on customer sites with technology-based advice and problem-solving expertise, with a mix of 50% planned in and 50% reactive maintenance. When you are not supporting our clients' customers, with your team of engineers, you can get involved in quality, new product development and trial runs on site.

Key requirements:

  • Apprenticeship - Mechanical, will consider welding/fabrication or electrical.
  • Can making and Canning Capping process knowledge, ideally experience of working in a food manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to fault find and solve problems quickly in difficult situations methodical, and to adapt to changing/emerging technologies.
  • Full clean UK driving license.

What's on offer:

  • £45,000 - £50,000 per annum basic, attractive OTE with an additional 5 hours weekly at x 1.5 as standard.
