Vacancy Overview

A vacancy exists for a project administrator to provide dedicated admin support to the growing portfolio of projects within the Investment Delivery Team at Sizewell B Power Station. Working within a dynamic and delivery focused project team the Project Administrator is required to support the Project Teams & Organisation in the areas outlined below.

Nature and Scope

  • Office Management for team of up to 80/90 people
  • Dedicated project support (i.e Minute taking / meeting room bookings/catering arrangements)
  • In-processing new starters through security vetting and required training
  • Liaising with Security when booking people onto site
  • Undertake Fire Warden role for the office
  • Training coordination and update of team training records in SAP

Principal Accountabilities

  • Act as point of contact for general queries and reporting incidents
  • Providing cover for others in the department, as and when required where appropriate
  • Book in and collect contractors and visitors to the projects office
  • Arrange and attend training meetings with Head Office
  • Minute Taking/Typing, managing weekly and monthly team briefs
  • Maintain and allocate lockers
  • Arrange for all electrical items to be PAT tested
  • Manage and Co-ordinate team comms

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience

  • Competence with Adobe Acrobat along with the Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook)
  • The candidate should possess a high level of organisational skills, have the ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
  • Working as a team player and being self-motivated is essential to the role.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Experience of working within a technical / engineering environment would be beneficial
  • Proficient in Asset Management Suite (AMS) Document Management, Action Tracking, Records Track, CAP
  • Proficient in CDMS Document Management System
  • Knowledge of DVA Security Vetting process
