Well established Global Company with a portfolio of businesses and commodities is growing their London office - will you be their new Human Resources Manager/Specialist?

Based at Canary Wharf you be joining a small team with ambitious growth plans and the main functions will include UK specific:

1) Performance and reward
2) Recruitment and talent management
3) Strategy and organisation development

Salary: Between £30,000 - £38,000 per annum (consideration will be given to more senior candidates - salary negotiable)

Hours: Monday- Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm

This is a brand new and exciting opportunity to put in place an HR structure that creates a solid foundation for stability as well as deliver an excellent employee experience.

The specific emphasis is on the construction of a company-wide approach to the management of people and building relationships in the business to embed these successfully.

The role develops and implements people management programmes that will result in company improvement, sustainability and profitability through the appropriate hiring, training & development and reward of employees.

You will partner with people leaders on activities such as job design, employee relations, performance management and talent management.

Key responsibilities and duties of this role....

* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
* Conduct employee on-boarding and help organise training & development initiatives
* Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and retention of human capital
* Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organisation
* Coach managers in all aspects of people management
* Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
* Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
* Support the recruitment and selection process and coach people leaders in making excellent hiring decisions
* Nurture a positive working environment
* Support training needs analysis and advise the business on training
* Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics


* Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
* Degree in Human Resources or related field or possessing/studying CIPD qualifications
* Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
* Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
* Demonstrable experience with HR best practice and UK labour law
