Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Securities & Derivative Analyst to work with our client who is a global leader in banking and wealth management which provide consumers, corporations, governments, and institutions with a broad range of financial services and products to achieve the best outcomes for clients and customers with financial ingenuity that leads to solutions that are simple, creative, and responsible. The role is based in Dublin. This is a 5-month contract position.

Team Overview
Agency Securities lending (ASL) forms part of the wider Security Services Operations group and provides a range of Trade services to clients who operate within the lending program of the wider organization Custody services. These services include collateral management, trade confirmation & management, Settlements, post-trade reconciliations, Static data and controls functions.
Your team works in parallel with the trading teams, based both in London and Dublin, and our operations counterparts based in New York, Tampa, Singapore, and London. You will join a highly diverse and talented group who operate to the highest standards in the dynamic world of Securities lending.

Key Responsibilities
The Securities & Derivative Analyst is a junior level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the operations - Trade Support team. Your role is to assist in the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

  • Perform trade verifications to ensure accuracy of booking requests.
  • Generate and match trade confirmations according to the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) templates.
  • Complete settlement tasks and daily rate revaluations accurately and on time
  • Coordinate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution.
  • Perform regulatory controls, account reconciliations, and record retention activities in accordance with established policies.
  • Prepare and submit periodic internal and external regulatory reports.
  • Participate in the periodic General Ledger (GL) proofing exercises as directed.

Qualification

  • Relevant experience preferred.
  • Understanding of treasury products, accounting, and regulatory policies
  • Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of macros.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
