We have several roles for HGV technicians to work on Ramsbottom.

You will be working in a modern, fully equipped workshop looking after vehicles for a global distribution company.

We have roles available working on day or night shifts. The days shifts work on a rotating morning and afternoon shift Monday-Friday. The night shift is working a fixed shift Monday to Friday.

It is working a 40-hour week. Overtime is paid after 40 hours and at time and a half (1.5x).

Holiday allowance starts at 22 days plus bank holidays, increasing each year of service.

There is also a benefits package that includes a pension, death in service, PPE and uniform provided, heath shield membership and full sick pay after 12 months service.

Your role as an HGV Technician will involve:

• Preparing vehicles for MOT testing
• Completing inspection records and defect reports
• Ad-hoc repairs to vehicles

Our ideal HGV technician will have the following:

• Level 3 NVQ in HGV maintenance or equivalent OR time served experience. Level 2 can be considered
• Previous experience working as an HGV Technician

Hours & Pay for the HGV Technician role:

• A rotating shift working 06:00-14:30 & 13:000-22:00 Mon-Fri paid at £19.84-£21.97ph depending on the hours worked
• A night shift working 21:00-06:00 paying £22.41ph
• 40 hours per week
• Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours
