Team Leader

Manpower are looking for a Team Leader for our National client based in Tyseley on a temp to perm basis.

Monday - Friday
9am - 5pm (flexibility required to meet business needs)
Salary negotiable

Main Duties:

• Assist with the weekly fire alarm test, completion of daily warehouse floor walks and end of day walks.
• Allocate or advise on the allocation of resource for shift activity within the operation and make the necessary adjustments
• during the day to ensure targets are met with the guidance and support of the Warehouse Shift Manager.
• Monitor and when appropriate escalate performance, accuracy, 5S hygiene, stock capacity.
• Ability to action any operational requests on WMS and warehouse tasks
• Ensure any ad hoc customer requests are dealt with as instructed by the line manager.
• Understand, capture and update information on KPI boards when required operationally.
• Assisting with management of goods to ensure a good flow and dealing with any changes as necessary.
• Encourage line workers on quality improvements and safe behaviours.

Requirements

• Experience of working to agreed targets
• PC literate
• Previous experience of using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) at a super user level
• Previous experience with supporting customers on warehouse floor
• Understanding of all warehouse processes.Experience of managing a team
• Understanding of KPIs
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail
• Understanding the needs of the customers on the warehouse floor.
• Good Communication and organisation skills
• People focus; empathy, engagement.
