Role - Programme Analyst

Location - Gloucester

Salary £17.96 per hour

Training Programme Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for production of Strategic Training Oversight committees Quarterly Training Programme Health Reports to provide insights into Training programme.
  • Support data pack preparation for the Strategic Training Oversight committees and Strategic Training Oversight Board
  • Arranging and participating in the SOC and STOB meetings. Taking SOC and STOB meeting minutes
  • Reporting Training Key Performance Indicators for management team to maintain oversight of the whole Training programme performance.
  • Analysis of trends within the programme and feedback any risk and opportunities to the senior management team.
  • Responsible for providing tactical analysis of training data to inform decision making.
  • Responsible for carrying out the defined activities as the Corrective Action Programme department evaluator using Asset Management System
  • Producing ad hoc Training reports as requested by business using Corporate MLH system and analyzing the reports using POWER BI to help business make decision.

Department Evaluator Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for carrying out the defined activities for the CAP DepartmentEvaluator as defined in company process BEG/ICP/OPSV/CAP/001'Corrective ActionProgramme' and supporting Specifications / documents at the location, including:
    • Functioning as the 'owed to' for action tracking Action Requests belonging to their department
    • Creating Assignments for departmental Action Requests
    • Building route lists for Assignments dependent on significance
    • Interfacing with location CAP Coordinator to resolve Action Tracking conflicts.
    • Reviewing / closing out completed Action Requests
    • Attending CAP Screening Meetings as required, including appropriate preparation.
      • Responsible for promoting effective CAP programme usage in their department, including:
        • Identifying AMS training requirements
        • Coaching departmental staff on Action Tracking / Assignment management
        • Reporting status of departmental CAP Action Tracking performance / Assignment progress
        • Prompting line management and staff when actions are required
        • Supporting departmental CAP trending
        • Identifying CAP performance issues, and communicating these to the CAP Coordinator

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Knowledge & Skills

Essential

  • Advanced Excel data manipulation and analysis skills
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly MS Office packages
  • Strong numerical competency
  • The ability to explain complex concepts and problems in simple terms with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Ability to develop strong internal relationships and interact at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills

Desirable

  • SAP/MyLearningHub familiarity
  • Ability to create reports with high impact
  • Understanding of Systematic Approach to Training lifecycle
  • Experience in developing KPIs and metrics

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working within an analytical team in a commercial setting
  • Experience of reporting and forecasting across a multidisciplinary function
  • Strong track record of accuracy and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience of working in an environment requiring self motivation, flexibility and responsiveness to business need
