Service Advisor - Plant Machinery

We are recruiting a Service Advisor with our client who are a leading plant machinery supplier, boasting a range of machinery brands for the construction sector.

As part of the Aftersales Service team, the successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, coordinating with workshop and field service engineers to ensure the service department runs smoothly and carrying out administrative duties.

Candidates with service/ aftersales experience in plant machinery, HGV, automotive or agricultural sector would be desirable

Monday to Friday hours, salary in £30 - 35k range depending on experience

The Role

• Provide customers with a responsive and reliable service
• Coordinate workshop scheduling to ensure smooth and efficient running
• Provide a responsive and reliable service to customer
• Carry out administrative tasks, both IT and paperwork form
• Work with sales, parts & suppliers to give excellent service on technical/ warranty issues
• Update customers on work progress, timelines and any technical issues
• Provide accurate information to support warranty claims
• Process engineers paperwork e.g site sheets, machine checks, holiday requests etc

What we are looking for

• Ideally aftersales/ service experience in Automotive, Plant, HGV or Agri sector
• Customer service experience with good verbal & written communication skills
• IT Literate (Microsoft Office) with good admin skills
• Organised with good time management, can prioritise tasks
