HGV Mechanic (Bus & Coach)

Manpower is recruiting HGV Mechanics with our client who are Northern Irelands Public Transport service provider.

*Light Vehicle Mechanics are welcome, experience on commercial vehicles is desirable*

Based at their workshop in Derry/ L'Derry, you'll carry out mechanical servicing and repairs on a range Buses and Coaches.

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, with early finish on Fridays £30,230

Night Shift: Sun to Weds / Mon - Thurs 10pm - 8am £39,300

The Role

• Mechanical maintenance, servicing and repairs on vehicles, buses and coaches
• Carry out vehicle inspections and complete relevant paperwork
• Diagnose faults and take corrective action
• Remove and replace vehicle parts
• Work with colleague and supervisors effectively
• Work in line with company policy and health & safety

What we are looking for

• Qualified Level 3 Vehicle Mechanic (Light or HGV)
• Preferably have experience on commercial vehicles, HGV's and Buses
• Able to fault find and diagnose
• Working knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
• High standard of work, quality and safety practice
