Manpower is currently looking for Traffic Coordinator/ Transport Coordinator for our client, the world's leading nutrition, health, and wellness company. We are seeking a dynamic and organized Traffic Coordinator / Transport Administrator to join their team in York for a 6-month contract position.

Location: York, YO31
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Alternating Schedule: Week 1: 07:00 to 15:00, Week 2: 11:00 to 19:00
Wage: £13.81 per hour (approximately £27,000 per annum)
Start Date: Immediate

Role Overview:
As a Traffic Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing logistics operations, ensuring smooth coordination between drivers, internal teams, and external partners. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a 365-day resource plan, adhering to our client policies and transport regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams to execute resource plans effectively
Serve as the primary point of contact for all drivers, providing guidance and support
Escalate major issues that could impact cost, service, quality, or compliance
Liaise between shunters, transport planning team, distribution center, and factories
Provide administrative support to the logistics traffic office
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in logistics or transportation (advantageous but not essential)
Familiarity with transport management systems
