Shift Maintenance Engineer

Our client are a UK wide food producer who produce a range of famous brands

Working at their production site in Belfast, we are recruiting a Shift Maintenance Engineer who will carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment, working in a fast paced FMCG production plant.

Shift patterns consists of 2 weeks days and 2 weeks nights, 7am - 7pm, with a strong salary and generous pension scheme matching up to 10% contributions.

We are looking for multi-skilled mechanical or electrical bias candidates with maintenance experience in production settings, with experience in food sector a big bonus.

The Role

• Preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment
• Fault finding and repairs across electrical & mechanical systems
• Support towards continuous improvement initiatives
• Respond to breakdowns quickly and correct problems efficiently
• Work in line with good health & safety practice
• Work to drive the overall Engineering function and performance

What we are looking for

• Level 3 or HNC qualified in Electrical/ Engineering discipline
• Proven maintenance experience in Manufacturing / FMCG production
• Excellent knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic
• Experience with automated equipment and PLC's
• Can work as a team in fast paced setting
