Band 2 - Pot wash

Location: Merthyr Tydfil

Contract: Temporary, ongoing

Hours: You will work 33.5 hours per week, with shifts scheduled on a rotating basis. This includes any five days out of seven, covering weekends and bank holidays. Shifts are between 7 am and 7 pm, so full flexibility is required.

£16.14 Saturdays and nights
£20.95 Sundays and Bank Holidays

Start date:
Immediately, subject to satisfactory DBS check and references. Manpower pays for the cost of the DBS check.

The role:
As a Pot Washer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils are thoroughly cleaned and ready for use.

Main duties of the job:

• Washing pots, pans, and utensils
• Ensuring the kitchen is clean and organised
• Assisting with additional cleaning tasks as needed
• Adhering to health and safety standards
• Supporting kitchen staff in maintaining a hygienic environment

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience working in a kitchen or similar environment
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Good organisational and time management skills
