We are recruiting for a business development manager to work for our client in Liverpool.
This position comes with a clear and uncapped commission structure. You will also receive a company car and fuel card.
This is a new role to the business. The successful business development manager will be able to build out a new portfolio of clients. They will earn commission on profit from each sale.
The company has ambitious growth plans. This is a key hire and there will be opportunity to progress into a sales director role.
The company specialises rope access, safety netting, edge protection, and structural surveying.
We are looking for candidates with experience selling effectively into the construction, infrastructure project or facilities maintenance sectors.
You do not need knowledge on rope access as training will be provided.
Key responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:
- Build a pipeline of prospect companies through cold calling, marketing, and networking.
- Identify the relevant decision makers within these prospects and introduce the company's services to them.
- Meet with prospective clients to understand their needs
- Contract negotiation
- Maintain good working relationships with your clients to ensure repeat business
- Work closely with the operations team to handover new projects
Requirements for the Business Development Manager:
- Previous experience working in a B2B sales role
- Have a true understanding the sales process required to generate new business from industry leads
- Be able to demonstrate successful client relationship management and client retention
- Full UK driving licence
Salary & Benefits for the Business Development Manager:
- £40,000 - £45,000 p.a (negotiable dependant on experience)
- Uncapped commission structure with a realistic OTE of £80k
