Slough

6 months Maternity cover, Full Time 37.5 hours per week

Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office and 2 days remote working each week
£43,000 plus Dependent Upon Skills and Experience, per annum (pro rata)

Our client a leading Paint and Coatings Manufacturer have an exciting opportunity for a Shopper Marketing Brand Manager, being experts in the proud craft of making paints and coatings, their world class portfolio of brands is trusted by customers around the globe.

The Shopper Marketing Brand Manager will build the shopper marketing channel and customer plans, create and execute the 'path to purchase' marketing programmes (both physical and digital) within their respective channel. The role will involve supporting the Senior Shopper Brand Manager in planning & implementation of 'Peak' activity, across all customers and all relevant brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Shopper Marketing agenda for the relevant channel/customer.
  • Develop and execute the relevant channel and customer plans in partnership with Category, Brand & Commercial teams in order to drive share and sales growth through our customers
  • Measure effectiveness of campaigns and return on investment on activities
  • Day to day management of shopper agencies for lead activities
  • Champion the customer - be their voice within the business - understand their shopper, business strategies and how we can work together with them to align and jointly drive sales
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to produce and execute physical and digital content on champion brands, to deliver against customer and brand requirements
  • Build strong cross functional relationships with Brand, Comms, Category and Sales and Trade Customer Marketing where relevant.

Skills required:

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, including speaking in front of small and large groups. Proven project management and analytical skills. Proven ability to influence across a broad network of the organisation along with good creative judgement and experience in working with creative agencies to develop work across multiple channels, in-store and online.

  • Ideally educated to BA/BSc degree level or equivalent
  • Marketing/Sales experience with multiple categories and/or brands (shopper marketing experience)
  • Experience working within a matrix organisation structure
  • Experience in development and implementation of 'path to purchase' shopper marketing plan
