The BSc Professional Policing team are seeking two student researchers to assist with a 'Simulated and Immersive Policing Scenarios' project. The project aims to embed a range of practical scenarios within the Professional Policing degree, through Hydra-inspired simulations and role plays. The project is split into 2 parts and student researchers will be required to:
Part 1: Hydra training - Student researchers will be asked to research and design immersive hydra-inspired activities. Supported by the project leads, they will assist in the creation and production of various exhibits, videos, pieces of evidence etc.
Part 2: Evaluation - Student researchers will be asked to conduct a survey and focus group asking students to reflect upon their experiences of the practical activities. Supported by the project leads, this data will be analysed to help understand student perceptions of these activities.
