Mechanical Technician
Are you ready to play a pivotal role in keeping production lines running smoothly? We are seeking skilled Mechanical Technicians to join our clients dynamic Production team. You'll be at the heart of ensuring the production lines operate efficiently, with minimal downtime, to consistently deliver high-quality products. You will ensure the continuous operation of the production line. The facility runs 24/7, requiring team members to work a 12.5-hour shift pattern, covering both day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities: As a Mechanical Technician, you'll be an essential part of a multi-skilled team responsible for:
- Line Setup: Preparing and setting up production lines, ensuring all equipment is installed and ready for optimal operation.
- Setting Adjustments: Fine-tuning equipment settings to maintain product quality and maximise production efficiency.
- Filling Checks & Adjustments: Performing routine checks and adjustments on filling machines to ensure precise product filling.
- Weigh Scale Calibration: Regularly checking and calibrating weigh scales to meet exacting tolerances and standards.
- Parts Management: Disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling machine parts, ensuring everything is in perfect working order.
- Maintenance: Conducting daily visual inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent issues before they arise.
- Pump Setup & Purging: Setting up and purging pumps, ensuring they're ready for use in production.
- Line Support: Providing technical support and troubleshooting to ensure smooth and efficient production line operations.
What We're Looking For: We want to hear from you if you have:
- A strong mechanical background.
- Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulation checks to maintain high standards.
- Experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
