Line Operator - Nights

Manpower are currently seeking Line Operators to join an established, global manufacturer based in Flitwick.

Having recently undergone expansion at the site, it's an exciting time to join the team and offers the opportunity for long term, stable work at a reputable business.

The role of the Line Operator is to co-ordinate the safe and efficient running of the production line, including the control of packing and quality of the components being made.

Key responsibilities would be

• Make-up of cartons / boxes for the packing of finished goods
• Ensure packs / boxes are correctly labelled
• Packing the pallets / boxes according to the required standards
• Sealing and closing the packs
• Any other task deemed reasonable for the role

You will be able to demonstrate

• Awareness of health and safety practices and ethos
• High attention to detail to ensure quality of part manufactured meet standards
• Effect time management facilitating the efficient running of production lines
• Awareness of importance of maintaining accuracy of production records
• Effective team work

This is a temporary ongoing role with the opportunity to go permanent after a set period of typically 10 weeks.

You will be working a fixed night shift pattern of 8:00PM - 8:00AM, Tue - Fri.

The hourly rate of pay is £14.24 per hour, with other benefits such as closing over the festive period for two weeks, free hot drinks and fresh fruit delivered several times a week.
