You will be required to work a 3 rotating shift period which will consist of the below, please note shift 1 & 3 pay £13.80 and shift 2 pays £19.74 weekly pay 36 hours per week

SHIFT 1

Monday-Thurs 0600-1400

Fri 0600-1200

SHIFT 2

Mon-Thurs 2200-0600

Fri 1800-0000

SHIFT 3

Mon-Thurs 1400-2200

Fri 1200-1800

**Job Description:**

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Production Operatives to join the team. As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that our gas cylinders meet the highest quality standards. Your primary responsibilities will include external inspections and shot peening of gas cylinders to ensure safety, durability, and compliance with industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Perform external inspections of gas cylinders, identifying defects or irregularities and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

- Using a dressing gun to eradicate any defects, this is essentionally a handheld sander

- Operate shot peening equipment to improve the fatigue life and strength of gas cylinders by applying a controlled surface treatment.

- Set up and maintain machinery, ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

- Follow detailed work instructions, safety protocols, and quality control procedures.

- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimizs processes and improve product quality.

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

**Requirements:**

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.

- Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.

- Strong commitment to quality and safety standards.

- Ability to operate machinery and use hand tools effectively.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

- Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as required.

Note: Full training will be provided and there could be an opportunity for the right candidate to go permanent should a position arise and you show commitment and willing
