HGV Technician

Manpower is recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated and detail-oriented HGV technician in the Livingston area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about environmental sustainability and eager to make a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of HGVs.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
• Ensure all vehicles are compliant with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on repairs.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion of all tasks.

Qualifications:

• NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HGV systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance and repair (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
• A full UK driving license; an HGV license is advantageous but not essential.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
