Shift Times: 0730-1530 Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: £14.07ph
Location: N1C 4PD

This assignment is Temp- Perm position

Manpower are looking for an Horticulturalist to work for our client based out of Central London. Working in this role you will be required to support grounds maintenance contract delivery, specifically to liaise with Client, Residents and Friends Groups in respect of minor regeneration projects additional work streams, and adhoc nuisance rectification works. Also monitor and engage grounds maintenance operatives to ensure works are delivered safely and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include:

* Carry out a range of horticultural maintenance activities, in accordance with best horticultural practices.
* Ensure that designated sites are designed, prepared and maintained to an exceptional standard of horticulture, cleanliness and overall appearance.
* Operate and maintain plant & machinery; plan and undertake routine maintenance of tools, equipment, machinery and vehicles; plan and organise machinery and vehicle servicing and repairs.
* Develop quotes and estimates for additional works and special projects.


To succeed, you will need:

  • To be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Hold a full valid UK Driving License
  • Capable of working safely using a range of equipment and hand tools (e.g. strimmer's, backpack blowers, push mowers etc.)
  • Experience in working in a busy team and providing a high-quality service.
  • Formal horticultural qualification e.g. National Certificate in Horticulture, National Diploma, NVQ Level (amenity horticulture) or RHS is preferred
  • PASMA training
  • PA1 and PA6 Pesticide Licence is preferred
