HGV Mechanic - Bus & Coach

Manpower is recruiting a HGV Mechanic with our client who are Northern Irelands Public Transport service provider.

*Light Vehicle Mechanics are welcome, experience on commercial vehicles is desirable but not essential*

Temporary role running to September 2025, with potential for extension or Permanent opportunities

Based at their workshop in Newry, you'll carry out mechanical servicing and repairs on a range Buses and Coaches in the fleet.

Monday to Friday hours

£31,741 salary

The Role

• Mechanical maintenance, servicing and repairs on vehicles, buses and coaches
• Carry out vehicle inspections and complete relevant paperwork
• Diagnose faults and take corrective action
• Remove and replace vehicle parts
• Work with colleague and supervisors effectively
• Work in line with company policy and health & safety

What we are looking for

• Qualified Level 3 Vehicle Mechanic (Light or HGV)
• Preferably have experience on commercial vehicles, HGV's and Buses
• Able to fault find and diagnose
• Working knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
• High standard of work, quality and safety practice
