The Role:
As a Senior Project Controls Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Join us to take on a pivotal leadership role, where you will drive performance and results across multiple teams within our expansive business unit. This senior-level position offers the opportunity to shape departmental strategies and influence key decisions at the executive level.

Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of project controls including:

  • Lead and manage multiple related teams within a business unit or central function.
  • Develop and implement departmental plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure effective schedule management, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Oversee risk management, scope, and change management processes.
  • Collaborate with division executives, vendors, and regulators to drive project success.
  • Influence and guide managers and senior professionals to meet performance targets.

This is a full-time agile role and can be based at various sites, including Bristol, Warrington or Newbury.

Essential experience of the Senior Project Controls Manager

  • Extensive recent and relevant experience in a similar highly regulated environment.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering in a PMO position.
  • Strong experience in governance and accountability, working closely with cost, change, risk management, and document control teams within a project setting.
  • Familiarity with P6 software.

Qualifications for the Senior Project Controls Manager

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or a related field.
  • Membership in a professional body is desirable.
