Role: Inspector

Location: Edinburgh

Salary: £12.50 - £14.82 per hour

Full time 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality control inspections
• checks, and tests during the manufacture of products.
• Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production.
• Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.

Experience & Skills

• Needs to have Mitutoyo CMM experience
• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and related experience and able to show proven capabilities of related experience.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

You will report into a supervisor.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Full BPSS* Screening (*Baseline Personnel Security Standard), including proof of Legal Right to Work, Criminal Records Check, i.e. UK DBS and Drugs Screening.
