We are currently seeking an interim Artwork Manager to work with our global FMCG client, Elida Beauty, renowned for brands such as TIGI, VO5, Toni & Guy, and Brylcreem, and become an integral part of their fast-paced Scientific FMCG environment.

The position is based in the Knowledge Quarter in Liverpool City Centre (L3), accessible by train, bus and car, however this role can be fully remote with occasional onsite working if preferred.
This is a full-time temporary role to run until the end of March 2025, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up between £34,000 - £46,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.

We are looking for an experienced and agile Artwork Manager who can lead the full artwork process. The Artwork Manager will work in close contact with marketing and the cross functional teams to deliver on time in full, error-free artworks.

Role Accountabilities

  • Manage the flow of new artworks through the process of design briefing and adaptive design, to artwork production, print management and 3D rendered images.
  • Deliver innovation artworks to printers, prioritising key strategic projects and management of Artwork designers workload & prioritisation.
  • Full management of the AW projects for key projects, including leadership update.
  • Facilitate print trial and manage colour proof process across all projects.
  • Drive constant project learning & artwork process improvement, also leveraging learnings from other projects, including post-project-evaluation on every project and cascade twice a year to wider team
  • Drive artwork process excellence: early input, proper sign off, create documents execution benchmark, continual prioritisation, creative problem solving
  • Continue to improve a 'One stop shop' for artwork to step change process & artwork efficiency


Key Skills

  • Experience of artwork production or print management is needed
  • Organisational skills: project management, network planning, time management, flexibility and ability to deliver under pressure
  • Communication skills: Team briefing & interaction, project meetings chairperson, upholding accountability within teams, project proposals and updates to leadership.
  • A creative, logical and analytical mind to generate innovative solutions to technical problems.
  • Experience of working in partnership with x-functional partners is beneficial
  • Attention to detail and computer literacy is a must for this role.
  • Ability to work in English language.
  • You are constantly looking to improve the world and consumer experiences through formulation development, and create new ways to deliver more value to Elida Beauty's business growth.
  • By combining technical knowledge with a passion for creative problem-solving, you never hesitate to act when faced project obstacles.
