Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and optimize vehicle utilization for efficient collections and deliveries.
• Monitor collection timings and driver locations to ensure smooth operations.
• Serve as a key contact for drivers, addressing route and vehicle issues.
• Maintain compliance with PPE, security requirements, and the Working Time Act.
• Oversee tachograph compliance and monitor driver hours.
• Ensure accurate driver clock-in information for payroll processing.
• Work closely with the EHS and Compliance teams to uphold safety standards.
• Provide cross-training support to cover scheduling during staff absences.
• Manage costs in line with budget guidelines set by the Commercial Operations Manager.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contribute to waste management reporting.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the Greater Dublin area.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous transport planning experience, particularly in the Dublin area.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in spoken, written, and reading English.
