Forklift Operatives

Our client who are a global leader in advanced materials manufacturing are looking to expand their operational workforce due to growth.

We are looking for Forklift Flexi and Counterbalance drivers to support the manufacturing team in the efficient distribution of goods around the site. Experience of operating a Reach vehicle is also advantageous, though not essential.

These roles will be covering a working pattern based around Mon - Fri, 8:00AM - 5:30PM, with occasional overtime available.

Main duties

• Be responsible for distributing various materials around the site and distribution warehouses
• Maintain clear and accurate stock and distribution records
• Support in other areas of the manufacturing environment when required

Key Skills

• In-date Flexi and Counterbalance FLT License
• Valid UK driving licence
• Reliable with a team work based approach to workload
• Good communication skills
• Operating in an efficient manner whilst adhering to safety standards

This opportunity is available initially on a six month temporary to permanent basis, but offers a longer-term career position for the right candidates.

Hourly payrate is £13.38 per hour with an appealing shift pattern and long term career potential

Please note that valid, in date counterbalance licenses/certification is required to be considered for this role, and a UK driving license check will be necessary.
