Decon Operative

As a Decon Operative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our healthcare organisation. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and dispatching a wide range of medical products, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfilment, and contributing to the safe and sustainable use of medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decontamination: Inspect, clean, disinfect, and sterilize returned medical equipment, following strict safety protocols.

Other Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Processing Stock: Unload deliveries, inspect goods, and process incoming stock accurately.
• Order Fulfilment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for timely dispatch.
• Inventory Management: Conduct stock checks, maintain accurate records, and assist with stock replenishment.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhere to safety regulations, and operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to achieve operational goals, communicate issues, and assist with training.
• Stock Checking: Support stock checking activities and ensure accurate inventory levels.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Pay Rate - £11.44 per hour

Working hours Monday - Friday 14:00 - 22:30

Must be able to commute to Aylesford, Kent, the site will be relocating at the end of the year to M20 J8.
