Fire Suppression Systems Technician - Exciting Career Opportunity in Safety Engineering

We are looking for a talented and driven technician to become part of our client's expert team, committed to safeguarding lives and assets in demanding environments across diverse industries.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and maintain fire suppression systems
  • Provide on-site servicing and respond to emergency callouts
  • Conduct quality control checks and maintain precise records
  • Offer technical support and training to clients


  • Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience in auto electrics, electrical wiring, pipe fitting, and mechanical fitting
  • Proficient in the safe use of handheld tools and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to adhere to standard operating procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic IT skills for report writing and documentation
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Eagerness to learn about complex hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Logical and thorough approach to troubleshooting
  • Competence in using a phone/tablet for job completion, photo documentation, and parts processing


  • Preferred Skills:

  • Welding experience
  • Familiarity with quality systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

  • Working Conditions:

  • 45-hour contract with time starting from van entry
  • Overtime available without a cap (1x Mon-Fri, 1.5x weekends)

  • Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: Depending on experience, plus overtime and day/overnight rates
  • £5 Day Rate or £15 Overnight Rate paid directly into wages
  • Company credit card provided
  • High-spec vehicle equipped as a mobile workshop
  • Competitive pension contribution with upgrade options (5% employee, 10% employer)
  • 20 days of holiday + bank holidays + an additional day for each year of service (up to 5 years)

  • Job Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel away from home (with plans to reduce travel in the future)
  • Ability to work in various settings (demolition sites, ports, recycling plants, quarries)
  • Availability for weekend work as needed
  • Capability to work at heights (training provided)
