Lead Climber
Location: Bath, covering the Mendips & Bristol region
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: 07:30 am - 15:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £13 - £15 per hour

About the Role:

idverde is seeking a passionate and skilled Lead Climber to join our team in Bath. In this role, you will perform advanced tree work, including pruning, removals, and stump grinding, while ensuring the highest safety and quality standards. If you have a positive, energetic attitude and take pride in your work, we'd love to have you on our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced tree work, focusing on safety and quality.
  • Safely remove hazardous trees and stumps, adhering to industry regulations.
  • Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure safety.
  • Utilize climbing and aerial rescue techniques as vital parts of the role.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds NPTC Level 3, Aerial Tree Rigging (CS41)
  • City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting (CS30)
  • City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm (CS31)
  • City & Guilds NPTC Level 2, Tree Climbing and Rescue (CS38)
  • Relevant arboricultural experience with a commitment to safety and quality.
  • A positive, energetic, and flexible attitude, with a willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Desirable: City & Guilds NPTC Level 3 Aerial Cutting of Trees with a Chainsaw Using Freefall Techniques.
