Maintenance Technicians (Multiskilled/Electrical bias)

Manpower UK Print & Packaging Division are excited to bring an opportunity to market for 3 maintenance technicians, based on our clients Newcastle site. These full-time permanent opportunities are working for one of our prestigious partners, a market-leading, global packaging business. In these roles, you will provide electrical engineering support by completing planned and breakdown maintenance of equipment, ensuring it is carried out in a safe, timely and efficient manner, minimising equipment down-time and improving line efficiency.

What's on offer:

• Salary - c.£47,000 per annum.
• 25 days holiday / 8 bank holidays (factory shutdown at Christmas only)
• 100% attendance bonus payments (£200 twice per year, subject to tax & NI)

Key requirements:

• Qualified to a minimum of ONC/C&G Part III or HNC in electrical engineering, or have time served apprenticeship (essential).
• City & Guilds 18th Edition.
• PLC control systems experience Siemens S7.
• Proven experience working in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
• Have the skills to maintain and fault find on electrical and automated systems.
• Strong methodical approach to problem solving.
