£12.01 through to £14.83 depending on hours worked

We are seeking dedicated Loading Bay Operatives to join our team for the British Gypsum contract in Sherburn in Elmet. This is a rare temp-to-perm opportunity for individuals looking to be part of a hardworking and supportive team, working on a Monday to Friday basis.
Shift Pattern:

• Week 1: 20.45 - 5.15 Mon - Fri
• Week 2: 12.45 - 21.15 Mon - Fri
• Week 3: Monday 5.45 - 14.15 Tue - Fri 4.45 -13.15

Shifts rotate on a three-week basis, provided in advance. No weekend or bank holiday work unless overtime is offered.

Pay Rates:

• 06:00 - 18:00: £12.01/hour
• 18:00 - 06:00: £14.74/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Secure loads by unstrapping and strapping them as needed to ensure safety during transit.
• Collaborate with forklift truck (FLT) drivers to confirm that loads are properly secured or ready to be unloaded.
• Provide support in loading and unloading activities if required, although these tasks are typically handled by FLT drivers.
• Maintain adherence to all site health and safety regulations.

Work Environment:

• Open warehouse environment.
• Appropriate dress code required for safety and comfort.

Requirements:

• Flexibility to support loading/unloading if necessary.
• Commitment to following health and safety rules.

Due to location candidate woudl need their own transport to be able to commute to and from work.
