Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Operative to join our team at a leading student accommodation provider in B5 area of Birmingham.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, minor repairs, and general upkeep of the accommodation facilities.
• Address maintenance requests from residents promptly and efficiently.
• Assist in the inspection of buildings and grounds to identify maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all areas are safe and well-maintained.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills in various maintenance areas.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a short-term temporary position for 1 week working 12pm - 5pm paying £11.44 per hour
