The Role
You'll join the Platform Engineering Team, where you will own and deliver tasks that ensure submarines and submariners go to sea safely.

What you'll do:

• Maintain configuration data, documents, and drawings for all items as fitted to Royal Navy submarines according to a configuration management plan.
• Keep records of the status of existing submarine technical documentation to ensure quality assurance.
• Ensure all design change management documentation is accurately managed and maintained within the Submarine Definition Database (SDD).
• Work as part of a team, serving as a subject matter expert across Babcock, the Royal Navy, MoD, and industry partners.

What you'll need:

• STEM qualifications or equivalent vocational experience.
• Experience in using engineering documentation, such as drawings and technical records.
• Understanding of change management and the control of project and engineering documentation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
• A drive to own and shape your career development journey.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
