Manpower is working with a prominent business located in Peterborough that requires Internal Sales Executives to offer a single point of contact to key customers within the construction sector.

Reporting to the team supervisor, this exciting opportunity requires an excellent telephone manner with the ability to up sell additional products within a target driven environment. The role will consist of taking inbound calls from key existing clients, providing advice, quotations and taking orders over the telephone so accuracy and strong customer service skills are essential for this opportunity.

Main responsibilities

* To administer accounts offering single point of contact
* Raise quotations, deal with all quotation amendments, follow up on all quotations with aim of converting quotations to orders
* Forward orders and all relevant contractual information to depot to enable contract to be delivered successfully
* Liaise with depots regarding availability of stock
* Liaise with Key Accounts Director, and regional sales managers regarding rate queries
* Communicate with Supervisor and team to ensure team is aware of 'work in progress'
* Follow standard operating procedures to ensure process adherence and effective communication to all parties

Experience required:

* Ability to work in an operational/functional matrix organisation
* Must be methodical and organised, and work to high quality standards both as part of a team, and when working individually
* Previous experience in a telesales role or sales oriented environment where customer contact is regular
* Customer Focus
* Used to working in a busy environment and operating as a team member and using own initiative to solve problems
Has proven experience and ability to work effectively with internal and/or external customers.
