The Client:
Due to a major departmental relocation from London to Bristol Manpower are currently recruiting for a number of Customer Banking Officers / Administrators on behalf of our client Coutts, one of the oldest and most prestigious private banking organisations in the world. Historically known as bankers to the monarchy and nobility, today the Bank act as wealth manager to a wider range of high net-worth clients, including famous celebrities, sportsmen/women, high-ranking executives etc.

The Opportunity:
There are vacancies available across a number of teams working within Private Banking Operations - Credit*, Investments, Probate, Tax Operations, Digital Banking, Mortgage Operations* etc. Positions vary in complexity however the main emphasis for all roles will be on providing a crucial point of contact to stakeholders and clients, supporting Bankers and Wealth Managers in the professional management of client relationships and generally supporting the transition of work within the centre.

Full-time positions are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday and are offered on an initial 14 week 'temp to perm' basis. The salary is £9.00 per hour during the initial temporary stage; the eventual permanent position will then offer a starting salary of £20,306 (includes benefit funding) plus a discretionary salary bonus scheme. The Hiring Manager will also consider a minimum of 21 hours per week.

Candidate profile:
You will be a recent graduate interested in kick-starting a career in banking or a strong administrator with excellent transferable skills. Experience of working in a financial services environment dealing with complex client instructions and processing issues would be extremely desirable, although not essential. You will possess highly developed communication skills (includes the composition of professional and concise correspondence) and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will need good interpersonal skills and an excellent command of the English language, as you will be liaising with people at all levels of the business, including private bankers, wealth managers, accountants, lawyers etc. on a daily basis.

Essential Skills and Experience
> Excellent standard of education, including Maths and English Language is essential.

> Administration experience, ideally gained within a banking / finance operation (highly desirable).

> Computer Literate: MS Software including Word and Excel (essential).

> Advanced typing skills: high level of accuracy and attention to detail (part of the recruitment process will include an Evaluate Advanced Copy Typing assessment).

> Highly developed communication skills: excellent standard of spoken English, confident telephone manner and highly developed and concise letter writing skills (essential).

> Strong Customer Service ethos.

> Good planning and organisational skills.

> Good interpersonal and team playing skills.
