Job Purpose:
To assess all components of the Apprenticeship framework for own caseload of learners in the workplace/Centre for the Apprenticeship programme and ensure their timely completions. Generate new leads through the marketing of the programme to employers within relevant occupational area.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Up to date and relevant knowledge of the occupational sectors and ability to deliver all aspects of the Apprenticeship Framework. A full understanding of and the ability to market the Apprenticeship programme to employers in order to generate own clients onto the programme, as required.

Key Competencies:
*D32/D33, A1 or full TAQA qualification
*Teaching certificate/or equivalent (eg PTTLS)
*Up to date occupational experience in the sector
*Excellent understanding of QCF/NVQ standards
*Strong time management, administrative and organisational skills
*Ability to communicate effectively
*Good IT skills

Principle Job Accountabilities:
*Working within occupational area(s), assess own caseload of candidate portfolios covering all components of the Apprenticeship framework, including Key/Functional Skills and Technical Certificates
*Ensure performance of Learners is reviewed and monitored within Centre/work place
*Delivery of off the job training and personal and social needs sessions to Learners in Centre, as appropriate
*Ensure timely framework completions to meet SFA contract requirements
*Attend standardisation meetings along with all Training Consultants and Internal Verifiers
*Ensure any changes to NVQ/QCF standards or new processes are implemented in a timely manner,
*Marketing of the programme to generate new clients
*Carry out health and safety inspections of new employers and re-inspections, as appropriate
*Assess eligibility of clients and, where appropriate, enrol them on the programme using relevant paperwork
*Maintain and update all relevant processes and ensure quality assurance levels are met
*Update own skills/qualifications as required, to respond to changes in programmes as they occur
*Effective reporting to the Adult Skills Manager, as required
*To represent the Company to external bodies, where appropriate
*Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time
*Ensure compliance with Company policies including equality and diversity and health and safety
