An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently looking for an Assistant Brand Manager (Skincare) based at Unilever's prestigious facility in Blackfriars, London. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 10.5 months, working a 40 hour week. Paying between £30,400 and £35,997 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

Background and Context
Simple was launched in 1960 in the UK with a positioning centered on sensitive skin with "no nasties, no nonsense / less is more" approach to daily skincare. We are now the largest face care brand in the UK ahead of Olay, with extremely strong market shares in facial Cleansing; Make up removing and essential daily moisturisers. Our business model utilises fully digital & social media, with a cohesive content strategy followed across our activities.
Since acquiring the brand in 2012, we have rolled it out in the USA and own now 7% of the wipes market, and almost 2% of total women face market. In the UK, we have sustained USG and share growth, from 15% in 2012, to now 16.4% MAT.

This role sits within the Global Simple Team and focuses on the core of the range (Kind to Skin products)

Main challenges of the job
Support the senior Brand Manager on growing the core of the brand, the Kind to Skin range, and the brand footprint.
This role covers
1)Project Leadership:
In this role you will support the senior brand manager on the management of the core range and lead the development of travel and trial sizes. In this role you will be responsible for the OTIF delivery of the project by leading the cross functional project team.
You will be working on all aspects of the mix.

2)Communication Development:
Work on the development of the communication for the Core Kind to Skin range liaising with key agency partners (Advertising, Digital, Activation) to ensure OTIF delivery of assets to countries.

3)Driving the future of Simple Core
Support the Senior Brand Manager in the exploration of new ideas for the brand to feed the innovation funnel.

4)Masterbrand work - visual identity, brand book and USLP
Finalise and implement the upgraded visual identity of the core liaising with strategic design agency, PMA, artwork specialist and countries.
Support the brand manager in Masterbrand initiatives, in particular brand book and related brand guidelines and sustainable mission.

Key success measures
-OTIF delivery of core range update and travel & trial sizes
-Qualified communication campaign and compelling Brand Experience Toolkit ready for launch
-Validated global Masterbrand initiatives (upgraded Visual identity implementation, sustainability mission defined, brand book + related toolkits for packs/coms/in-store ready)

Relevant experience:
- 1+ years' experience in Global Brand development, part of it in a Beauty category
- Alternatively, BB experience or regional experience will be also considered
