My Client is a Leading digital agency in Peterborough focused on delivering cutting edge online solutions is on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Office Manager with accounts experience

The agency is well known locally and nationally for helping businesses grow online and are passionate about making a real difference. The office is a cool, open plan environment, including a pool table and bean bags, if that's your kind of thing.

What we're looking for:

A proactive individual interested in the running of a creative company. This role will help drive our client's business by managing their office and accounts and supporting the Managing Director.

In this role you will provide valuable administrative support to the Managing Director of an established company and future ventures. This is within an open plan office including a dynamic team of creatives, marketers and developers. You will be comfortable carrying out routine tasks individually and as part of a team.

A confident communicator, you will be happy to liaise with individuals and help with all the departments including, finance, office management and administrative tasks. Must be prepared to organise meeting rooms, keeping the kitchen topped up and will be in-charge of some HR activities.

Key responsibility above all will be to provide valuable support to the whole team, facilitating an efficient, fun and creative working environment. You will take ownership of accounts by managing all invoicing processes, monitoring and analysing profitability and working effectively with our external accountant.

Responsibilities include:


*Diligently process all supplier and client invoices through Dropbox and Xero Accountancy Package
*Track and chase sales invoices in a timely and effective manner
*Create weekly internal payment plans and sales invoice plans
*Analyse budgets through monthly Profit & Loss report, flagging budget concerns and suggesting improvements
*Regular reporting on profitability and invoicing through Xero and own Excel reporting
*Ensure Accounts runs efficiently, implementing improved operational procedures where relevant
*Ensure external accountancy services are working efficiently and effectively
*Real bonus if you have forecasting and commercial awareness in business direction and growth recommendations

Office Support:

*Full support to the Managing Director
*Awareness of Directors key tasks and changing focus's - providing relevant support through own initiative
*Assist in the recruitment and management of the company's staff
*Responsible for the incoming and outgoing post
*Manage smooth running of the office
*Organisation of Team events, internal and external
*Organisation of calendars

Workflow & Team Support:

Support Project Managers and Designers by identifying potential workflow disruptions
Introduce new and managing existing operational procedures to improve workflow
Assist the team with project work when required

The ideal candidate will have:

*Experience with small business finances
*Experience in managing a team and workflow
*A minimum of 3- 5 years commercial experience in a similar field
*Working knowledge of Xero and Dropbox would be required
*Advanced Microsoft Office skills
*A degree/similar qualifications preferable
*Highly efficient, organised, a strong planner, problem solver with great time management/prioritisation skills
*An ability to work on a large number of tasks at any one time under tight deadlines, working under pressure
*Experience in the retail industry or similar design agency is advantageous
