Are you an experienced Supplier Manager, preferably from a Recruitment background, looking for your next Contractor position? ManpowerGroup Solutions are seeking a Supplier Manager (possibly with a Procurement background) to maintain the optimum quantity and quality of recruitment suppliers dedicated to a specific major new client contract serving locations across the UK.

You will be responsible for all aspects of supplier enrolment, on boarding and maintenance of new and existing suppliers through the implementation phase and into BAU operations. Working with the client managers and the Manpower Programme delivery teams, you will ensure the adequate quantity of suppliers are available to all business units, ensuring that all geographic and industry sectors are covered. This will also include the creation and delivery of briefings to suppliers on the client account, and creating / delivering training modules for process and day to day system usage.

As you would be responsible for identifying the need for new suppliers for a given business unit, you need to be capable of researching local markets, identifying and enrolling new suppliers. You will need to demonstrate proven commercial negotiation skills in agreeing fee structures, and great attention to detail in the preparation, negotiation and despatch of agreement and other documentation.
You will need to be confident and comfortable with data management and software on a daily basis, as the role includes data maintenance and analysis for supplier monitoring and performance reporting - knowledge of the Fieldglass system would be an advantage, but would be trained if you are unfamiliar.

Excellent communication skills are key to this role, liaising internally with your client account team colleagues nationally, with the client managers, and with the new and existing suppliers, ensuring best practice throughout the supplier management processes, with a passion for delivery excellence.

Given the nature of this role, we would expect you to spend a couple of days per week at our Shared Service Centre in Eastleigh with your team - however, we are flexible regarding working from home part of the time, and you will be expected to travel to visit client sites/suppliers as part of the role - so you would need to be based within reasonable travel distance to Eastleigh.
So - if this is the perfect role for you, what are you waiting for? Apply now!
