An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Unilever are currently recruiting for a e-COMMERCE CUSTOMER CHANNEL EXECUTIVE. This is a 3-6 MONTH (Possible Temp to Perm) role to start ASAP; the location for the role will be based in Unilever's prestigious facility in LEATHERHEAD, SURREY. This role will be Monday to Friday. The salary for this role is paying up to £30,400 per annum pro rata, depending on experience.

Background/General Purpose of Position:

The eCommerce Customer Development team is dedicated to delivering sales growth of Unilever products and maximising brand communication opportunities through online grocery websites. It sits within the Customer Development Structure and has strong links to Unilever marketing teams.

To win market share for Unilever through sales growth using industry leading online brand communication on Sainsburys.co.uk. that aligns brand portfolio objectives with the eCommerce


*Build an industry-leading plan for Unilever brand portfolio on Sainsburys.co.uk with the intent to grow sales disproportionately and gain market share;
*Deliver GSV(Gross Sales Value), market share and Return on Investment objectives in line with the eCommerce strategy;
*Manage budget and subsequent forecasting within permitted variance;
*Undertake analysis of Sainsburys.co.uk activations and improve future activations as a result;
*Build strong relationships and develop ways of working with Sainsbury's Account Managers
*Co-ordinate Sainsburys.co.uk, buyers and Unilever category teams to deliver simple category management solutions.

Marketing Implementation
*Deliver industry leading brand communication based on clear shopper insight to achieve brand objectives and ultimately drive sales and market share gains;
*Create and deliver integrated activation plans through working closely with Customer Marketing;
*Own the relationship with the Sainsburys.com creative team and third-party agencies involved in the delivery of the Unilever plan;
*Develop collaborative relationships internally (e.g. with Brand Execs & CAMs) to align brand, sales and eCommerce objectives within the plan;
*Take on one of eBuddy roles educating a specific Brand & Category Team about eCommerce and representing the team during budget pitching and activation stages;
*Take responsibility for ensuring essential basics are available for all NPD launches in the eCommerce channel, such as correct product descriptions, Brandbank images and samples.

eCommerce Strategy
*To contribute customer and consumer insights to the development of the Unilever eCommerce strategy;
*Have a passion for winning; must always seek improvement and best practise;
*Sharing of best practice within the eCommerce team, wider Unilever teams and customers;
*Challenge existing ways of working externally and internally to optimise processes;
*Support Sainsburys Account Managers in producing and following category strategy.

Key Experience and Qualifications Required

The individuals will be passionate about shoppers, pioneering a new channel and delivering results. Good interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills are preferred.

They will have a demonstrable track record of building collaborative and productive customer relationships. Ideally would have account management experience.

Experience in digital marketing is highly preferable. Experience in FMCG marketing or account management is desirable.
